At The Meadows in Stonington, Connecticut, on May 9, a beautiful couple got married. Many of you may know how excited I was to photograph this wedding, but in case you don't know the couple, let me explain why. Bethany and Steve are one of those couples whose love for each other just radiates right out of them. Heres a quick story ~ the day after Steve proposed to Bethany, she, myself, and oh probably about 20 other people were in the gym when Steve came in, ran immediately over to Bethany, picked her up and spun her around like they hadn't seen each other in months! He was so happy to see his new fiancée, he couldn't contain the excitement after being away only a few short hours! That, is love. And I love their love.
The Meadows in Stonington was a beautiful venue to host their wedding. The day turned foggy which made for an incredibly romantic atmosphere. Everyone was sharing in Bethany and Steve's joy, everyone. They both have wonderful big loving families that were so excited for the day. And some pretty awesome friends that spent the night dancing thanks to Music In Motion. Naturally my *very close second* favorite part of the day was the cake, provided by Teal Bakeshop.
The ladies of Blue Lane Events, Jennifer and Kaitlin, did a phenomenal job setting the scene. All of the floral arrangements: bouquets, centerpieces, aisle arrangements and the flowers that adorned the arbor where Bethany and Steve said their (tear jerking) vows were absolutely gorgeous. Along with the staff at The Meadows, they ensured the night went off flawlessly. The Meadows in Stonington looked incredible, right out of a fairy tale.
and for my favorite photo...
Congratulations Mr. + Mrs. Landry, you have a beautiful love story and I can not wait to watch it grow!
